Taiwan basks in glory of fast-rising NBA star Jeremy Lin

TAIPEI (17 February 2012) — Taiwan has claimed as her own son the fast-rising American National Basketball Association (NBA) player Jeremy Lin, the first NBA player of Taiwanese descent, after he squared off against legend Kobe Bryant in a match and came out with a better performance.
